Q: Can you explain the cottage layout/beds a bit more?
A: Country Cottage:4 bedrooms, 2.5 bath
Main floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, powder room, large glass/tile shower
Upstairs: queen bed in large landing area and family suite (with door) and a queen bed and 3 twin beds , double jacuzzi-jetted tub in ensuite
Honeymoon Chalet: 1 bedroom, large loft, 1 bathroom with double tub and separate shower stall
Mainfloor: 1 bedroom with a double/single bunk be
Upstairs: large loft with queen bed, double futon and twin bed.
Knotty Pine Cabin:3 bedrooms, 1 bath
Main floor: 1 bedroom with twin bunk bed, pull out sofa couch in living room, 1 bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower
Upstairs: king bed in walk up master, double futon, ensuite room has a twin bed
Q: What does the exterior look like and where do the owner live?
A: The cottage looks like a triplex townhouse, but there is actually 4 full houses within the triplex appearance because the first unit is a duplex. Here’s a drawing to help you understand. the duplex unit houses the Cabin(circled in green) & the Chalet(circled in red). The white unit is the Cottage(circled in yellow). The end unit (circled in blue) is the owners house. The first photo is taken from the lakefront. The Cottage and Chalet both have decks facing the lake. It’s hard to get a great photo for you because there are so many gorgeous trees surrounding the Lakehouse!
Q: Can I check in early?
A: We cannot guarantee an early check in but if you check with us 24 hours in advance of your arrival date we can let you know.
Q: Can I check out late?
A: Weekend rentals have a check out on Sunday at 6pm so you can enjoy the whole weekend. In the summer there is no possibility of a late checkout. Checkout is at 10am and is strictly enforced as there is only a few hours until the next guests arrive.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Up to 2 dogs are allowed to stay in the Knotty Pine Cabin. There are 2 Lakehouse dogs that love making new friends. Here’s a list of things that need to be followed if you bring your pet:
Q: What types of coffee pot do you have?
A: Each cottage is stocked with a keurig coffee maker, so please bring k-cups.We also provide re-useable K-cups that can be used with regular ground coffee.
Q: What items are stocked in the kitchens?
A: Pots, Pans, Coffee Cups, Glasses, Plates, Bowls, Utensils, Cookie sheets, frying pans, knives, and most items you will need to prep and enjoy your meals.
We don’t stock any condiments, napkins or paper towel, so please bring yours.
