Q: Can you explain the cottage layout/beds a bit more?

A:

The Cottage:4 bedrooms, 2.5 bath

Main floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, powder room, large glass/tile shower

Upstairs: queen bed in large landing area and family suite (with door) and a queen bed and 3 twin beds , double jacuzzi-jetted tub in ensuite

The Chalet: 1 bedroom, large loft, 1 bathroom with double tub and separate shower stall

Mainfloor: 1 bedroom with a double/single bunk be

Upstairs: large loft with queen bed, double futon and twin bed.

The Cabin:3 bedrooms, 1 bath

Main floor: 1 bedroom with twin bunk bed, pull out sofa couch in living room, 1 bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower

Upstairs: king bed in walk up master, ensuite room has a twin bed

Q: Can I check in early?

A: We cannot guarantee an early check in but if you check with us 24 hours in advance of your arrival date we can let you know.

Q: Can I check out late?

A: Weekend rentals have a check out on Sunday at 6pm so you can enjoy the whole weekend. In the summer there is no possibility of a late checkout. Checkout is at 10am and is strictly enforced as there is only a few hours until the next guests arrive.

Q: Can I bring my dog?

A: Up to 2 dogs are allowed to stay in the The Cabin. There are 2 Lakehouse dogs that live on site and that love making new friends. Here’s a list of things that need to be followed if you bring your pet:

  1. all bathroom messes must be cleaned up right away
  2. please ensure all visiting dogs are child and pet friendly
  3. any damages as a result of pets is the responsibility of the renter and comes out of your damage deposit
  4. we highly recommend not letting your pet run around at night due to wild animals in the area
  5. please check with your vet to see if you need any special vaccinations for your canine friend as the risk of coming into water contaminated with wild animal urine is present…ask about listeriosis

Q: What types of coffee pot do you have?

A: Each cottage is stocked with a traditional and a keurig coffee maker. We also provide re-useable K-cups that can be used with regular ground coffee.

Q: What items are stocked in the kitchens?

A: Pots, Pans, Coffee Cups, Glasses, Plates, Bowls, Utensils, Cookie sheets, frying pans, knives,  and most items you will need to prep and enjoy your meals.

We don’t stock any condiments, napkins or paper towel, so please bring yours.
